I followed a child around one of the exhibits to remember how they experience everything with a fresh sense of delight.

as you already know, i love the bridging of gaps between distinct worlds/concepts through the arts. what you’ve evoked for me is a reminder that tapping into the source of inspiration/creativity is a wonderful space that we can access by interacting with an artist’s creative expression either passively (observer) or actively (participatory art); and through our participation interpret or create a new layer, giving a fresh meaning that the artist did not see or create. likewise, we could search for this source of inspiration within ourselves.
