So wonderful to meet you and present on the same panel!

I was very drawn to Ganson's work too, and agree that it is all too easy for us to lose the sense of wonder.

I followed a child around one of the exhibits to remember how they experience everything with a fresh sense of delight.

We'll have to meet up in another city and drink more bubbly! :)

thanks J, i love this post!

as you already know, i love the bridging of gaps between distinct worlds/concepts through the arts. what you've evoked for me is a reminder that tapping into the source of inspiration/creativity is a wonderful space that we can access by interacting with an artist's creative expression either passively (observer) or actively (participatory art); and through our participation interpret or create a new layer, giving a fresh meaning that the artist did not see or create. likewise, we could search for this source of inspiration within ourselves.

what is this intangible source of inspiration that i refer to? that, my dear, is for another day :-)
