In fact, they were thrilled with the idea of planting "their own" tree and promised to take good care of it as it grows. Its amazing how kids develop respect for trees and take it very seriously. The point is, world climate has changed because of human activities. Natural resources have been depleted at an alarming rate. Tree cover, especially in vast farm lands has not been spared. Bare lands are being eroded, silts end up in water bodies causing lose of life for marine lifes. How beautiful it will be if we make everything possible to help increase the population of trees?
