Update: Most were really quick on this one: This is the Global Museum in Westlands Nairobi. It does have a meditation center in there.
Ms K, dunno what’s in there, next time i will be sure to stop and check it out properly, admission is free! Thanks everyone for playing…i will be sure to make the next one harder. I am trying to fix the goobly gook look of the site on IE, on firefox it displays fine… bear with me, will fix it soon. Meanwhile, use firefox please…thanks.
Where in Kenya is this?
*This is a visual game that started last year, JKE, Steve and MA have played along so far… There’s are much more challenging than mine…
Happy New year to you! Thank you for reading in ’06 despite my light posting and here’s to a bright ’07. Cheers.

In Westlands near the hawker stalls. I know cause one time driving past there this past Dec everyone in the car was rather impressed by the structure.
Happy New Year to you too.
Yep
Something meditation center: affiliated to the Maharishi University I think. Right opposite Unga House.

Happy New year to you too and hope to see you more.
Am so bad at guessing.
Lapapaloca or as it is called now Sohos neighbour
definitely westlands, next to sohos. i may not know the name of the place but i bet thats a lotus!
Opposite Unga House in Westlands, just next to the “yes my friend, see my shop? today i make u good price”-souvenir market.
Meditation centre or something. I know our dentist used to be a member there.
Ah, talking about it: someone should publish a book about the different architectural jewels found in Nairobi. Now this is something waiting to be compiled, I guess. I especially like those older buildings from the 1920s as found in Moi Avenue and Pangani&Co.
Me I want to know, does it have any use apart from being obviously decorative? Kuna ka-maskan hapo ndani ya hizo petals? Like a ka-game room? Ama the SQ?
Happy New Year AfroM!
Yeah its near sohos. I could have sworn that its the Global Museum… you guys have me second guessing my recollection! – I checked and y’all are right – there is a yoga meditation center there http://www.bkwsu.org//whereweare/center. Its still called the Global Museum.
